I have a friend whose name, if you add “me” in front and change the lettre “n” into “m” twice, sounds like “Mister Rabbit” in Dutch. So this design was originally made as a pun for my friend Mirko Meyn. (Memeer Komijn > Meneer Konijn) It might look like completely different spelling for non-Dutch speakers, but the pronunciation is actually the same.
